WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
- I have a fully licensed and insured commercial kitchen located in my home in Platteville, WI and are a by-order only bakery. I do not have a storefront and offer free delivery or coodinate pick ups in local area; I do not do pick ups at my home.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
- To check on the current availability of a date, please use the Contact Us page. I try to respond to inquiries within 2 business days. Submitting the form does not guarantee space on my calendar. Your order is only placed and the date reserved once your order has been paid in full (within designated time period listed below).
- I generally need a 2 week minimum notice (longer notice may be needed for larger orders or during holiday season), but please contact me if you need something sooner and I’ll see if I can accommodate.
DO I NEED TO PREPAY?
- Yes, I require payment in full before your order is accepted and placed on my calendar. Once I confirm availability for your date, I will email you an invoice via Square that will give you an option to pay by credit or debit card. This invoice holds your requested date for 48 hours after it is sent.
- If payment is not received by this time, I will consider your contact an inquiry only, your invoice will be canceled, and the date made available for other orders.
- I accept all major credit/debit cards.
- By paying the invoice, you acknowledge you agree with the terms listed on this policy page.
DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?
- At this time, I do not take custom orders.
DO YOU OFFER PICK UP AND LOCAL DELIVERY?
- Please note that as I am located in a residential area, and do not offer pick ups at my home.
- I offer delivery within 10 miles from my home. The first 5 miles is free, any additional mileage is charged at the IRS Standard Mileage Rate, current $0.67/mile round trip. I also frequently arrange to meet in town for pick ups to make it as convenient for you as possible.
- Delivery/pick up plans will be made at the time of order.
- For any Flash Sales or Pre-Orders, specific pick up times at a designated location in town will be included with sale announcements.
DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING?
- I offer nationwide shipping of some of my treats; those not able to be shipped are designated as “local only” on their listings.
- I ship via UPS (note: UPS will not deliver to PO Boxes).
- I will email the tracking number when your order has shipped.
- I am unable to guarantee specific delivery dates and am not responsible for late deliveries due to carrier delays.
- Shipping & handling charges will calculated based on your order and included in the invoice.
- I ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to try to avoid having packages sit in shipping facilities over the weekend.
- All items are individually packed and heat sealed, packaging includes bubble wrap to minimize any damage to your order. Although I take great care to package your order, once it with the shipping carrier I am no longer responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
- You will receive a full refund (in original form of payment) if your order is canceled at least 10 days prior to order due date for orders being shipped, 7 days for local orders.
- 50% refund for orders canceled with less than above noted notice.
- A full refund will be given if I have to cancel due to an emergency.
- Local orders that are not picked up at designated time with no contact by you within 2 days to coordinate a subsequent pick up time will be forfeited and no refund will be given.
- No refunds are given for:
- Broken cookies
- Colors that are not an exact match to those in website photos
- Shipped cookies that arrive late due to delays by carrier
- Lost or stolen packages
- While I don’t accept returns or exchanges, please contact me if there are any problems with your order.
- I am not responsible for damages that occur once my treats have left my possession. You are responsible for providing (or making sure any venue provides) an appropriate environment for your order. I recommend that any temperature sensitive item (i.e., cheesecakes) remain out of the refrigerator for no longer than 2 hours, a shorter time in warmer temperatures. If traveling with temperature sensitive items, I recommend placing in a cooler with ice packs.
- By paying the invoice you acknowledge you agree with these terms.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS ON LARGE ORDERS?
- I do not offer discounts.
ALLERGEN STATEMENT:
- All of my baked goods are made in a kitchen that handles Dairy, Egg, Wheat, Soy, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds and Tree Nuts. The meringue powder used in the icing for decorated cookies is also made in a facility that processes Fish and Shellfish. I cannot guarantee that any of my items are free of allergens because I share equipment and handle common allergens throughout my bakery.
PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT:
- I respect the privacy of my customers and do not give out or share any information. I collect only the information necessary to conduct my business, and do not collect nor retain any financial information (credit card numbers, etc).
