Welcome to Perfectly Petite Bakery, LLC, a licensed by-order bakery in Platteville, WI, specializing in mini wrapped cheesecakes, decorated sugar cookies, petite deep dish cookies, traditional cookies, brownies, chocolate covered pretzels, and other petite treats. I also offer some seasonal items. All items are made from scratch and hand decorated. With everything I create, there is a focus on the details, from the look and taste to the packaging.
A little bit about me..... I'm Neccica, the baker and owner of Perfectly Petite. I grew up in southern Missouri, graduated from Missouri State University where I met my husband, and earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. We spent 15 years in Massachusetts, where I worked in mental health, specializing in working with children and crisis work before heading back to the Midwest. After working several more years in mental health in Iowa, I made a career change and opened a gift shop in West Des Moines, IA, featuring the hand crafted work of American artists. Four years later, we moved out of state for my husband's job, and I began exploring baking as my creative outlet.
During my time in MA, I was fortunate to have had an opportunity to work with a Bavarian Folk Artist who hand painted one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, gifts, and home accent pieces. I learned a great deal from her about design, color, and the importance of focusing on details in projects, including recognizing that not all pieces require elaborate details to be just as beautiful and more fitting for their purpose.
I am self-taught and spent several years studying and improving my skills before making the leap to open Perfectly Petite. While I enjoy baking the classic treats, I also like going beyond the "traditional" options. My mini cheesecakes are wrapped in a delicate buttery shortbread type crust that makes them easier to serve while also pairing well with the flavors of the cheesecakes. My petite deep dish cookies are a twist on the classics like chocolate chunk or peanut butter, baked in a mold for a uniform thick 3" wide cookie, finished with related toppings, chocolate drizzle or streusel. My decorated sugar cookies are 3/8" thick, keeping them soft and chewy, with a choice of almond vanilla or chocolate. I offer a variety of petite sized treats to compliment your other dessert offerings. I hope some of my creations will be the perfect addition to your celebrations, for those "just because" moments, or simply for you to enjoy!
