WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF BAKED GOODS?
- Cookies: I individually package and heat seal all cookies (local and shipped orders). Cookies left in these packages should remain fresh at room temperature for at least 2 weeks. Do not refrigerate! I would recommend freezing them if you are keeping them beyond two weeks. (More on how to freeze cookies below)
- Cheesecakes: Cheesecakes should be kept refrigerated and eaten within 5 days. Given the crust and toppings, most do not freeze well.
- Chocolate Covered Pretzels: Pretzels are individually packaged and heat sealed and stay fresh at room temperature for several weeks
HOW DO I FREEZE MY COOKIES?
- Leave cookies in their heat sealed bags and place them in a sealed Tupperware-like container. When ready to thaw, take the container out of the freezer and set on the counter with the lid on until thawed (If you open the container before cookies are completely thawed, condensation may form on the inside of the packages, and with sugar cookies, it may cause the icing to soften or impact the design).
ARE ANY OF YOUR TREATS GLUTEN FREE?
- At this time I do not offer gluten friendly or gluten free options.
ALLERGEN STATEMENT:
- All of my baked goods are made in a kitchen that handles Dairy, Egg, Wheat, Soy, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds and Tree Nuts. The meringue powder used in the icing for decorated cookies is also made in a facility that processes Fish and Shellfish. I cannot guarantee that any of my items are free of allergens because I share equipment and handle common allergens throughout my bakery.
